Did you miss any Fall Semester Exams? All exams for the fall semester must be completed by 3 February. Any exams missing at that time will be scored as a zero (0), resulting in students losing 10% of their overall semester average. |

Report Card Distribution Delayed Due to the district transition from one data management software system to another, the distribution of report cards is being delayed. Tentatively, report cards are scheduled to be distributed on 24 January. UIL eligibility dates are NOT affected. Also, parent and student access to grade information online should remain available during this transition. |

Spelling Bee Winner Congratulations to 6th grader Teja Kommera! Teja won 1st place in the regional spelling bee and will represent McKamy at the district spelling bee on January 26! We are very proud of Teja and wish him the best of luck at the next level! |

Faculty Balloting is complete and Julie Myers has been selected by the faculty and staff as the campus Teacher of the Year for McKamy Middle School. In all, nineteen teachers were nominated. LISD Engages Communities by Launching News Sites Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is excited to announce a new way to communicate with its 52,000 students, parents, staff and community partners. On Jan. 9, the district is launching daily news blogs that will focus on news and information for all schools by the high school feeder pattern. To cultivate pride in the district, they will be called by the high school mascot name, followed by “Pride Daily”. |
